TRM Easy5 Panel

The TRM Easy5 Panel is a UL508A Certified panel ready to bolt onto the wall.   It contains a fused power block, a power supply, a TRM-Easy5-Relay-U or TRM-Easy5-SDR and all internal wiring.   There are terminal blocks ready for all field connections including sensors and output relays.    The software programmed into the smart relay is ready to  monitor up to 20 TRM-DFS-3 indoor diesel fuel sensors (in two loops of 10), combinations of up to 10 x TRM-DFS-3 with up to 10 x TRM-WLS ;  2 x TRM-UST; 2 x TRM-IOS or 2 x TRM-CC sump sensor.   Output relays can be connected to an existing BMS or other alarm systems.    Additional contacts are provide to actuate a local or remote alarm (buzzer, LED leak indicator).

There are two variants of the TRM-Easy5-Panel.    The “SDR” version includes a small color keyed status screen on the face of the relay unit along with 4 output relays.   The “Relay-U” version does not have a status screen but has the same 4 output relays and functions.

The TRM Easy5 Panel is an ideal choice for a diesel leak detection applications in a mechanical room or basement location where staff may not always be present.    The output relays are normally open switches that can be easily used to signal the alarm condition to the owner’s existing site wide security system.  Every Easy5 panel includes connections for an independent TRM Remote Alarm Type-RO.    The Remote Alarm can be mounted adjacent to the Easy5 Panel or hundreds of feet away.

The heart of the Easy5 Panel is the TRM-Easy5-Relay-U or TRM-Easy5-SDR.    These micro-PLC are manufactured by Eaton Corporation.    Both the power supply and the Easy-5 Relay are cULus approved and CE marked.     The Easy5 Relay is pre-programmed for several operating modes that cover the variety of TRM Sensor probes.   The installer selects the proper operating mode at the time of installation via jumper wires (for the Relay-U version) and via set-up menus on the status screen (for the SDR version).

With the addition of a TRM Cable-to-Rleay adapter board, the SDR version of the TRM-Easy5-Panel can also monitor four wire sensor cable such as TRM-Waterwire-HT, TraceTek ‘sTT1000 TT3000, TT5000, TT5001 and TT7000.    RLE sensor cables and the analog type of TTK sensor cables can also be connected.  An estimated leak location is calculated when a leak is detected.

12″ x 12″ x 6″ Nema 1 sheet metal enclosure intended for indoor installations.    (or enclosure within a larger cabinet for outdoor applications)
