High temperature Feed Through Fitting

TRM WaterWire®-FTF is the feed through fitting component of the TRM WaterWire®-HT system. It is used wherever there is a need to pass the circuit wiring from the exterior to the interior of the steam conduit system.
The TRM WaterWire®-FTF is fabricated using a 3/4″ x 2″ stainless steel pipe nipple and high temperature epoxy potting compound. The four individual 18 AWG conductor are teflon insulated and rated to 250C.
Although most steam conduits are vented and operate at ambient pressure, the TRM WaterWire®-FTF is rated to 100 psi (based on 48 test at pressure while submerged in water with no visible bubbles). The pressure rating limits the possibility of an unexpected steam discharge into manhole or access pit and also prevents ground water from entering the conduit system.
